At Govt.H S S ,Balaramapuram

I along with my friends Fathima and Jisha at Victory College of Teacher Education visited Govt. H S S, Balaramapuram for three days (17,18 and19th  october 2022). We observed the school and surroundings and classes of well experienced teachers. We were fortunate enough to be with experienced teachers and some curious students. For me , these three days were so important and I enjoyed each and every moment in the school with the students and the teachers. I am pretty sure that the experience of these three days is an asset for me as a budding teacher...๐Ÿ˜Š

Fulfilling the hopes of hundreds of students and parents each year, G H S S Balaramapuram is the only government higher secondary school in Balaramapuram Panchayat. Proudly gracing the Thiruvananthapuram - Nagercoil national highway,this educational institution has been spreading the light of knowledge to students for more than 125 years.

Beginning its existence as a lower primary school in 1883,it was upgraded as upper primary school in 1890.High school and higher secondary classes began in 1976 and 1998 respectively.Today , it is with much pride and honour the school admit 600 students each year in the science and humanities streams of the higher secondary wing.Over the years , the school has produced exciting academic results.The school have Tamil,English and Malayalam medium.




The school have many facilities involving auditorium,library,school bus, store, toilet,ground etc...

The school provides breakfast and lunch for the students, teachers and non teaching staffs .



I was fortunate enough to observe the class of well experienced Vijitha teacher(Physical science ) in the 8,9 and 10 th standard. In the 10th standard ,she taught electrolysis in chemistry. She taught Mass and inertia (physics) in 9th standard. She performed some experiments in the 8th standard class to convey the concept of reactivity of metal using sodium metal and the students were  so curious.I think the students pay more attention when the class is activity oriented. I noticed that, the teacher pay attention to each and every student and make sure that everyone is listening and getting the concept.I firmly believe that, these three days are very useful for my teaching career....๐Ÿ‘
